****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves for the *daily run down on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali. And these current photos are courtesy of Hendra Surf Photograhy down at Uluwatu.
I just thought I’d mention *daily surf report as baliwaves.com does actually post surf reports daily, Monday through Sunday. But anyway todays surf ceck on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off a touch between Kuta reef and Airport Left. Currently breaking in the 1-2ft+ sector. Kuta Reef had some micro grommet sized waves peeling off in the knee to waist high class, but still with at least 20 surfers on it. Middle Reef was slightly bigger with waist to chest high plus set waves, 35 surfers on Middle’s this morning. Airport Left like Kuta Reef only kenn to waist high.
Surfing conditions today are clean and smooth with the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind kicking in around 8.45am. Currently gusting in the 8-10knot range.
Tidal info for today is calling for a 2.0mtr High @ 6.00am and then a 0.9mtr Low around the 12.30-1.00pm mark.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that wave height was still holding in the head to double head high range and only 1 surfer in the water at the time of the report. We should have another load of surfing pic’s from G-land by later this eveing for ya’s.
Looking for a wave today I’d be heading down to Uluwatu where your going to find the best size and power. But if I had a bit more time I’d be getting on the next bus to G-Land !
Weather wise around the Tuban / Kuta area of Bali we more classic holiday weather for the lucky boys and girls already here. Heading for a maximum beach side temperature of around 32-33 degree’s celsius.
Swell forecast is calling for a new swell to start showing on our reefs within the next 24-36hrs so stay tuned.
Ok we should have some new photos from Hendra by later this evening so stay tuned to the one and only original Bali surf report website.
And if your planning a trip to Bali this year (and I know you are !!) feel free to drop me an email if you want a helping hand organising anything.

Howz’it,
I plan on coming to Bali for my first time ever this year. Where’s the best place to get a GOOD board? How much? I’ve been Surfing 20yrs plus, lived in Hawaii on the N.S. Oahu, But, I haven’t surfed in about a year. But, I’m no Kook. Just need a good week or 2 to warm the engine up.
Where should I stay? What breaks should I get practice at first ?
Hook me up with some info please,
I’ll appreciate any Info!
Thanks
Please come here to Bali. Its not crowded and shit the swell has been the best in years. .
I agrre Bali is the best, not too much crowds
I said its not overcrowded and Also the weather buro http://www.bom.gov.au says there is going to be drought conditions in the west and lots of high pressure so a dud season so mabe even the NW could be shit. I’m going to Bali, but I don’t want you to go I want it all to my selfish self
Stop changing what I write slim. You manipulate things to support your own evil agenda. People should know it is crowded and shit.
LOL, Gary ([email protected]) just for the record ok. I actually have the option to edit sarcastic and nasty comments (if you didn’t realize…) I can change them into pleasant, or, turn them back into their creators face if I choose. Gary, I’m pretty sure everyone knows that Bali gets crowded through the Peak Season (June through August). But the waves are pretty impressive and one requires patience and a little local knowledge to beat the crowds. Your comments are not going to scare away surfers who want surf sun and fun mate, so try and cheer up, enjoy yourself instead of being miserable. No one likes a whinger either I don’t think. I don’t have “an evil agenda” Gary, I simply run a little website that generates enough income (through advertisements) to live in a small apartment with my family. I don’t own the apartment, I don’t own a car just a little motor bike and an old jukung double outrigger fishing boat. But I’m glad the Balinese are having a good year ecomomy wise, thanks to tourism. You should think about that Gary. If you continue to write your spiteful crap, I’m just going to delete it ok. Cheer up mate and enjoy Bali for what it is.
