****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the daily news with whats happening surf and weather wise here on the holiday island of Bali. And just to get the ball rolling we have another 20 new photos loaded into our G-land surf report page courtesy of our friends at the G-land Surf Camp. Plus the Hendra Surf Photography Team down at Uluwatu have given us a fresh batch of surf and bobyboard photos, with more to come later this evening.
This mornings surf check of the Outer Reefs was once again a disapointment after the swell forecasting guys had earlier in the week called for a solid swell. Actual wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was showing in the 1-2ft range with the very very occassional bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef. Surfing conditions were clean with the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind kicking in around 8.45am, gusting up to 15knot by midday. I also took another look at the waves just after lunch and the surf has gotten even smaller.
Tidal info was saying we had a 2.3mtr High @ 9.00am and then running out for a 0.4mtr Low around 3.30pm.
Weather wise here in Bali it’s been another hot and sunny day with the temperature reaching 31 degree’s Celsius.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was saying wave height has also backed off down into the 2-4ft class.
Swell Forecast, well I hope the forecasters are still getting it wrong as they are saying we are in for small surf over the next week.
Ok crew thats all I’ve got for ya’s for now but we’ll be back again tomorrow afternoon after we get back from a little pre arranged road trip up the coast in search of more swell. And if your planning a trip to Bali this year (and I know you are !!) feel free to drop me an email if you want a helping hand organising anything.
