Hi folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com to see whats been going down surf and weather wise here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so Sunday I was unavailable as the boys from here at Home Base and I made another run up the coast in search of bigger and better waves than what what was on offer here on the southern section of Bali. Just for the record, the Outer Reefs here in Tuban were only showing wave height in the 1-1ft+ range. As you can see in these latest photos that Scotto gave me last night Uluwatu was also in the waist to head high at best class. And even over at G-Land according to our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp wave height was only showing in the head to head high plus sector.
But where we ended up (somewhere) on the West Coast wave height was cranking through in the solid 3-4ft and possibly the biggest waves in all of Indonesia. But we never had it to ourselves thats for sure. Surf Guides arriving non stop with van loads full of Japanese surfers (exactly what happened to Keramas). We only had 3 in our group. But still plenty of waves breaking on both the A frame river mouth and the hollow right hander down the beach for everyone.
And as a kinda bonus the boys from the G-Land Surf Camp also sent us through another dozen or so photos from G-Land and you can find them posted on the G-land surf report page.
Ok thats just a quick take on what happened yesterday here in bali and I’ll get back to ya’s later today with another up-date on todays surf and weather conditions. So in the mean time try and get some work done. Or better still, go and buy a ticket to Bali !!
Best Regards
Slim
