****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello friends of the baliwaves and thanks again for dropping by for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination on the Planet, Bali. And yes sir our good friend Hendra and his team from down at Uluwatu have delivered more photos for us to check out this morning.
Like I mentioned in yesterdays report we have had a slight bump in wave height today. I was on the beach at 7.30am to find some nice little waves peeling off on Middle Reef in the 2-3ft+ range. The tide was still too low for Kuta Reef and Airport Left, but as she turns and runs back in there should also be some fun sized waist to chest high plus action on them as well.
Surfing conditions this morning are super clean with the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind fanning the waves at 7-9knot.
Tidal info for today is saying we had a 0.5mtr Low @ 7.ooam and then she’ll be filling back in for a 2.4mtr High around 1.00pm.
Weather wise here in the Tuban / Kuta area it’s clear sailing with blue sky and sunshine being the order of the day. Heading for a top temperature of around 29-30degree’s Celsius, and that’s how Sundays should be.
Our sms surf report from the good people at the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that they are in for a top day of surfing over at G-land. Wave height has also kicked back into the head to double head high class coming more out of the SW. At the time of the report there were only 4 surfers in the water up at Kongs. But as the tide starts to fill back in Money Tree’s down to the Launching Pad will be the place to be.
G-land; Ok the 10% discount for the early bookings into the G-Land Surf Camp has finished but I’ve spoken with the boss and he’s still prepared to give anyone who mentions baliwaves.com a 5% discount on standard, twin share and fan bungalows and a 10% discount on their air conditioned bungalows. Just mention baliwaves.com at their office and you’ll get money back in your pocket.
Looking for a wave today; your going to be able to take your pick at just about any location here along Bali’s South Western coastline. This morning, Middle Reef on the Outers, Bingin and Uluwatu’s ractrack section while the tide is low. As the tide fills in Balangan and maybe Dreamland and of course the Main Peak and Temple sections of Uluwatu.
And don’t forget to drop me a line if your looking for some surfer friendly accommodation here in Tuban / Bali (the quiter end of town). Right here at Home Base we have single rooms for US$15.00, US$18.00 for couple’s & US$25.00 for a twin share room. All rooms have Air conditioning, hot and cold water, tv, refridgerator and large private bathroom. 300mtrs back from the beach in fron of the Outer reefs here in Tuban.
Alrighty then crew we hope you enjoy your Sunday as I’m dead set certain that the boys and girls here on vacation in Bali are going to be !
Catch ya’s tomorrow
