****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for another week full of surfing and weather info coming to you live from the one stop surf, fun and sun holiday island of Bali. Anf I do have to say baliwaves.com is the only Bali surf report website that can keep it up 7 days a week. And another big thanks to Hendra and his Team from down at Uluwatu for todays photos.
I was up with the sparrows this morning and down on the beach doing the surf check at 6.00Am. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was still holding in the chest to over head high class, but with a slight directional change. Kuta Reef seemed to be picking up the lions share of the juice at the time with some nice little head high peelers wrapping onto the reef. Airport Left also had a few waves but more like in the waist to chest high plus sector. And as the tide runs out towards late morning Middle Reef will be the best option.
Surfing conditions were clean and glassy at the time with the wind only just showing at 0-1knot coming out of the East. Conditions should get even better when the Tradewind kicks in.
Tidal info for today is saying we had a 1.9mtr High around 6.00AM then she’ll be heading out for a 0.8mtr Low around 1.30PM.
Weather wise this morning there is some cloud cover hanging over us, due to the lack of wind. But we can expect another hot and sunny day for the beach lovers come midday. Heading for a top temperature of around 31 degree’s Celsius.
No sms reports in at this time.
Diverse Surfboards; Dave from Diverse on Australia’s Gold Coast called me yesterday to tell me that if anyone would like a custom made Diverse delivered to them here in Bali he is currently working on a shipment to be delivered. But you need to contact Dve direct through his banner link on baliwaves.com within the next week to beat the deadline.
For the surfer / fishermen who frequent these pages I have another fishing report along with some new photos ready for ya’s.
If it’s clean safe and friendly accommodation here in Tuban only 300mtrs back from the Outer Reefs, including A/C, hot water, refridgerator & TV for US$15.00 per night (single) or US$18.00 for a couple and US$25.00 twin share. Then drop me an email but usually we do need a few weeks notice.
G-Land we are offering you a 5% discount on all standard packages and 10% on air conditioned packages at the G-Land Surf Camp.
I’d also like to give Pat and Brian from www.eventpowerandlight.com.au a huge thank you for there exceptional help for me to be able to purchase a new lap top so these reports can keep flowing. This couple of everyday Aussies not only helped me while they were in Bali but also helped a young Balinese surfer start his own life by helping him to buy his own double outrigger boat and motor becoming his own master in life. Then they backed that straight up by sponsoring another young Balinese student to help his struggling mother who was battling to keep up with his school fee’s. So if your in Australia and you need portable power and light for an event contact Pat and Brian.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that — 1AU$=Rp8,400 — 1US$=Rp10,000 —
We are also now sending out brief random surf reports and ravings through Twitter mobile phone service so sign up today !
Ok friends there’s the news, so once you’ve flicked through the pictures put ya down and try and get some work done.
Talk to ya’s again soon
