****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
G’Day folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for todays rundown on surfing and weather conditions here on the surfing holiday island of Bali.
Well this mornings 8.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs was to me kinda looking like there was a slight increase in wave height. With 2-3ft (waist to head high) set waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Kuta Reef was an ordinary waist to waist high plus but there were still at least 15-20 surfers out there. While Middle Reef was pulling in head high waves with around a dozen surfers on it. Airport Left was pretty much the same as Kuta Reef, in wave height anyway, and there were quite a few reef taxi’s parked in the channel to indicate another influx of Japanese surfers out there. Yesterdays intel was saying that Nusa Dua and Serangan over on the East Coast had plenty of clean waves, not too mention the many other locations on the other side of the island.
Surfing conditions this morning were clean enough here along the West Coast, even though the wind was coming out of the WNW @ 1-3knot.
Tidal indo for todays is calling for an early morning 1.7mtr High and gthen running out for a 0.8mtr Low @ 12.30PM.
Looking for a wave today the best conditions will be surfed over on the East Coast at locations anywhere between Green Bowls and Keramas.
Sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was saying that wave height was a fun sized head to head high plus with plenty of clean waves on Kongs.
If it’s clean safe and friendly accommodation here in Tuban only 300mtrs back from the Outer Reefs, including A/C, hot water, refridgerator & TV for US$15.00 (Rp150,000) per night (single) or US$18.00 (Rp180,000) for a couple and US$25.00 (Rp250,000) twin share. Then drop me an email but usually we do need a few weeks notice.
G-Land we are offering you a 5% discount on all standard packages and 10% on air conditioned packages at the G-Land Surf Camp. And from all report’s I’ve heard of late, right now is an ideal time to get over there and score some un-crowded waves
