Ok so we went down for the early surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban at 6.30am. Finding wave height still holding in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport left with no wind present at the time. So the boys thought what the hell, no one out yet so lets do it. And for the next 2.5hrs they surfed Kuta Reef to themselves with clean and glassy conditions. The waves were pretty small but Kuta reef still has enough power and push to have some fun. Eventually around 9.00am 3 other surfers pulled up in a reef taxi and joined our team, so the boys decided to leave it with them and head back home for some brekfast.

Middle Reef had some slightly bigger and more consistent waves happening out there but there was at least half a dozen surfers on it alreasy. Down on Airport left it didn’t seem to be picking up as much size as Kuta reef, @ 1-2ft. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon we’ll start to see our new swell hitting the reefs. So stay tuned through out the weekend cause you already know we deliver all through it.

Around 10.00am the wind started to make an appearance coming out of the WSW @ 3-5knot.

Tidal info for today had a 1.4mtr High @ 9.00am and then only just ran out for a 1.2mtr Low around 2.00pm.

Weekend swell forecast is saying that wave height should be starting to jump back into the double head high class (depending on location) by Friday afternoon. Then Peaking with a touch more size through Saturday before backing off a litle through Sunday.
