****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves for the latest news on todays surfing and weather conditions here on the always in vogue surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well this mornings surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was once again only showing wave height to be dribbling through in the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But with hardly any wind out there the boys were happy to take another run back down to the sourthern end of the island to Bali’s Premier surfing location of Uluwatu.
As ya’s can see in these photos I shot today wave height was averaging in the 2-3ft range or waist to head high, for those that need a clearer explanation :). We were on the scene through the top end of the tide with the surfing focus happening on the Main Peak and down on the Temple sections. Not a lot of punch in the waves today but still everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. No locals bothered paddling out through the top end.
Surfing conditions by the time we turned up were still relatively clean for this time of the year, with the wind coming lightly out of the SW @ 3-6knot.
Tidal info for today had us down with a 0.1mtr Low @ 6.00am, then running back up for a solid 2.4mtr High @ 12noon and finishing off the day with another 0.3mtr Low around 6.00pm.
Weather wise it’s been clear sailing with nothing but blue sky and sunshine. Temperature wise it would have easily made it to 32 degree’s Celsius out of the comfort of the cars A/C.
Swell forecast, at last we have some good news with a new new medium swell in trasit to Bali that should start to show by Saturday / Sunday. In the mean time we should see a smaller system give wave height a nudge by tomorrow afternoon (Wed)
