16th April 2010
Hi crew, thanks for taking the time out for a glance at the baliwaves.com and today’s news on surfing and weather conditions here on the holiday island of Bali.
This morning’s surf check on the Outer Reefs went down around 6.30am to find still plenty of fun chest to head high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There wasn’t anyone out surfing at the time and conditions were clean with a light ENE off-shore wind. By the time I got back to the beach at 2.00pm the wind had swung around to the WSW but not too strong. Kuta Reef still had clean waves in the chest to head high area and 7 surfers out there. The crew choose to surf at Balangan this morning, wave height was in the chest to head high class. Ok waves but with a long wait between sets and 30+ surfers in the water.
Here’s some photos that the guys from Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu dropped off to us. Stay tuned through the weekend if you get a chance as we’ll be keeping it coming to you all through it.
Tidal info for today had us down for a solid 2.6mtr High around 11.30am and then she’ll be draining out for a 0.1mtr reef exposing Low @ 6.00pm.
Weather wise today, we’ve had a pretty much perfect day for the beach. Mainly blue sky and only just starting to get some cloud rolling in now @ 4.30pm. Temperature wise it would have easily been 34-35 degree’s Celsius where I was.
Ok folks that’s me for today, I’ll catch ya’s again tomoz.
