****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on everybody’s favorite surfing holiday island of Bali.
We’d already made up our minds the night before, this morning there was just time for a quick cup of coffee and then hit the East Coast at Keramas. I didn’t get a chance to check the Outer Reefs before we left, but I have since then heard there were waves in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Pulling into the car park at Keramas to find wave height hitting the shelf in the head to double head high range. Only 8 other surfers in the water at first which grew to around a total of 18 by 10.00am. But the surfers that were in the water were tearing it to peices.
Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through the early morning before the wind shifted to the NE and increased to 7-9knot.
Tidal info for today had us down for a 2.5mtr High @ 12.00noon and then running out for a 0.2mtr Low just after sunset.
Weather wise today over on the East Coast it was a mixture of blue sky and light cloud cover. Temperature wise it would have been in the mid 30’s while standing out on the black sand beach of Keramas.
Swell Forecast is looking real good for the next 7 days !
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month (valid till June 30th 2010). Faaarrrkkk…I love it when the girls get out in the waves…..would those girls be Brazilianos?…Its great theyre getting into it and they still seem to retain their femininity….Aussie girls are nice but I like a bit of grace , strength and mystique in my women..thats why I married a Parissiene girl I met in Kuta 20 years ago,…….Shes a city girl not a surfer ,shes a hot skier but we dont have too much snow in West Oz, it would be great too share some time in the waves with her……..j’aime les femmes……….Thanks for the Photos Slim, theyre great
