****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for sticking around the baliwaves.com. It has been a very rough last couple of days for me battling the dreaded hot and cold sweats, but at last I’m starting to get back on my feet (literally). Anyway here’s a handful of photographs I shot out at Kuta Reef this morning to tie ya’s through until tomorrow.
Our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still hanging about in the head to double head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. So with the early morning High Tide the boys (Martins) decided on a quick paddle at Kuta Reef. But unfortunately so did around 50 other surfers. Kuta Reef was looking fun peeling off in the chest to head high region. While down on Middle Reef there were still some solid head to double head high set waves. Even Airport Left was offering some fun looking waves in the chest to head high class.
Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming out of the ENE @ 5-10knot before swinging more to the ESE-SSE and increasing up to 12-15knot+ through out the afternoon.
Weather wise we got off to a sunny start with a midday temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius. But now @ 5.00pm the sky is starting to grey over and there’s a big chance of scoring some rain later this evening.
Sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was telling of wave height hitting Money Tree’s and Kongs in the head to double head high range. Only 3 surfers in the water on Kongs at the time.
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month.
