****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for another round of surfing and weather information. Not too mention another 51 action packed photos from our friends at Hendra Surf Photography. From here on the best value surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 8.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking a little dissapointing with only waist to waist high plus waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly out of the ESE-SE and off-shore between Kuta and Uluwatu. Now at 2.30pm wave height has improved a touch and the wind strength has also increasedto around 10-14knot.
Tidal info for today had us down for a 1.0mtr Low around 8.30am and then a 2.0mtr High @ 3.00pm
Weather wise out side there’s nothing but blue sky and sunshine with the temperature currently sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius.
That’s me for now, just a quicky. But I’ll be back with more info to help keep ya’s amped up for your next surfing holiday in Bali.
Now anyone out there looking for work in the Western Australian mining area, chasing some big coin should check out our new banner advertisement from “Scotford & Fennessy”. And just think, if you did get a start there you’d only be around 3.5hrs away from holidays in Bali.
Also while I’m on the promo trail “Doggy the Man” boat charters to Lombok and Sumbawa has 7 day surfing charters on offer for just US$500.00 per person. Or go one better and charter the whole boat privately with your friends for just US$5,000.00 for the week. So take a look at the websites and see what they have for you.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that — 1AU$=Rp8,295 — 1US$=Rp8,995 — give or take a few Rupiah depending on vendor.
Lakey Peak / Sumbawa, according to one of my old friends who has been over at Lakey’s for the last couple of weeks the crew that are there are loving life. Good consistant waves from the Peak to Periscopes and no crowd. No crowd only becuase Merpati Airlines here in Indo have cancelled all flights in and out for some reason.
