Kandui Surf Resort Mentawai Islands
Sep 25th surf report.
Our jumbo southwest swell came in as forecasted. Kandui, Hideaways, Ebay, basically
all the premiere lefts, were double overhead plus and grinding! That’s the good
news. The bad news was that northwest winds totally blew all those spots out the
entire swell! Sorry goofyfoots. But we always have the waves out front to surf in
those kinds of conditions and we had good sessions at A-Frames, Karambat Left, and 4
Bobs. And there were windows of good conditions for Bankvaults and we got some real
adrenaline pumpers. Some of our guests were really charging out there on their last
day. After this swell, it looks like the Indian Ocean is going to take a breather
for a while. Our new guests arrived today and I would expect they will be getting
very familiar with Burgerworld this week.
