****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello again and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for today’s 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island destination of Bali.
With this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs showing wave height to have slipped back down into the waist to chest high plus range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Middle Reef was looking the best option out there at the time with the tide still fairly low but starting to run back in. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with only the slightest hint of a breeze.
So we thought we’d take a run up to Canggu to see what was happening. Taking our time we arrived around 9.30AM to find wave height in the chest to over head high range. Surfing conditions were still clean and glassy on the sand bar left hander and only 6 surfers on it. While the right hander in front of the river mouth had at least 30 surfers on it. Not too bad at Canggu today and as usual there was plenty of high performance surfing taking place.
Tidal info for today had a 2.1mtr High @ 11.00AM and then running out for a 0.4mtr Low around the 5.00PM mark.
Weather wise today it was another mixture of cloud, rain, sunhine, heat & high humidity. Temperature wise it would have been between 27 – 30 degree’s Celsius.
Alim’s Medewi surf report was calling wave height to be still peeling off in the chest to head high range. Nice waves with clean and glassy conditions through until 2.00PM.
The sms surf report from the guys over at the G-Land Surf Camp were calling wave height to still be hitting Money Tree’s in the solid head to head high plus range. Conditions were a little lumpy through the morning but turning on as the off-shore wind kicked in. Only 2 surfers in the water at the time of this report (8.00AM)
