****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello everybody and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (’99) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice surfing holiday destination of Bali. And a very special Selemat Hari Raya Galungan dan Kuningan to all our Balinese friends tuning in. Also to the Ando Family down on the Goldy.
Well I guess you have already flicked through the photos before reading any of this so you can see what conditions are like here in Bali today. We stopped at just about every location between Mushroon Rock and Green Bowls this morning, and there wasn’t anything to be excited about. Mushroom Rock was breaking cleanly in the ankle to knee high range. Nusa Dua had the odd waist to chest high freak set on the middle to end section. There were 3 surfers and a couple of stand up paddlers in the water and probably the best option for a paddle even though the wind was strong cross/on-shore. Further south at Green Bowls there were 5 surfers in the water having a splash in the knee to waist high fully blown out waves.
Wind direction has been mainly coming out of the SW – SSW @ 5 – 10knot.
Tidal info for the record we had a 0.1mtr reef exposing Low @ 6.00AM and then running back up with a 1.9mtr High around midday.
Weather wise through till now it’s been a mainly cloudy morning with the odd burst of sunshine. Temperature wise a little milder, around 27 – 29 degree’s Celsius.
Ok like I said yesterday it’s looking pretty darn grim out there wave wise and it’s not going to be getting much better over the next 2-3 days. But where ever we end up we’ll have a camera in hand to keep the photos flowing back to you. So stay tuned to the baliwaves.com. Feel free to contact us if you need some info to help your next Bali holiday run smoother.
