****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello to all tuning into the baliwaves today for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions (all in one click) from Bali, and Every sane surfers favorite holiday destination.
This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to have dropped back down in the waist to chest high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with only a handfull of surfers out there. Wind direction was coming out of the North @ 0 – 1knot.
So with the tide on the run in and a little bit of North in the wind we sent Ketut up to Canggu as they are the conditions you want up there. And as you have already seen in today’s photo gallery we were pretty well on the ball. Wave height up there was pushing the solid 4 foot (well over head) range and at 8.00AM there was around 25 surfers scattered between the left hand sandbar and the right hand river mouth.
KL sent through an early morning sms surf report from up at Keramas (he can’t get enough of it) saying wave height had also dropped away and only leaving a small but fun waist to chest high wave. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy.
Tidal info for today had a 1.7mtr High @ 10.00AM and then running out for a 0.9mtr Low around the 3.30PM. The next moon phase will be a Full Moon rising tomorrow night the 19th.
Weather wise we had a few drops of rain through the early hours of the morning and apart from that it’s been a mainly fine and sunny day here on the holiday island. Temperature wise outside right now @ 2.30PM the mercury would be floating around the 30 degree Celsius mark.
