****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (’99) for the start of another surfing week and all the Bali surfing and weather info your going to need to keep the Bali dreaming going strong.
This morning started off nicely with our 7.00Am surf check on the Outer Reefs. Showing clean and glassy conditions with chest to well over head waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. What wind there was at the time was coming lightly out of the North @ 0-1knot. And at the time there was a few surfers out there enjoying the no crowd factor. I went back down for a 10.00AM back up surf check and the wind has swung more to the West with maybe just a smidgen of South in it, @ 4-7knot. But even so surfing conditions are still pretty clean out there.
KL has phoned through from Keramas and at 7.00AM wave height was hitting the shelf in the head to way over head range on the bigger sets. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with around 10 surfers in the water. A lot similar to yesterdays conditions. NB: That’s KL in the opening tube sequence (plus the other 2) in the current photo gallery.
Leo from Bali surf tours has also sent through an sms surf report from Serangan. Wave height at 7.00AM was averaging in the head high class with super clean and glassy surfing conditions.
Tidal information for today has us down for a 1.5mtr High @ 9.00AM and then only just running out for a 1.0mtr Low around the 2.30PM mark.
Weather wise another nice morning here on the holiday island. Mainly blue sky and sun shine heading for a midday max of around 32-33 degree’s celsius along the beach.
