****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (’99) to see what’s happening surf and weather wise here on the best value for surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
This mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only to see wave height down into the knee to waist high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind coming out of the NE @ 4-8kms.
But just for the sake of going for a surf we took a quick run up to Canggu. As you’ve seen in today’s gallery I shot there was a few waves up there ranging from waist to chest high and even the occasional head high freak set. Surfing conditions were perfect with a clean off shore wind and plenty of water on the tide. The right hander had some nice little peelers with between 4-10 surfers on it. The left hand sandbar was also peeling off a few and a little more consistent with 5-8 surfers. There were even a few surfers riding the left hand reef down in front of the cafe’s. The wind stayed clean out of the NE through until 10.00AM when the SE Tradewind started to kick in.
Today at Canggu there were a few sly nice shaped little waves but it was perfect for the grommets. Hopefully we should have some slightly bigger waves for Sunday. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report, cause you know we got it covered.
Tidal info for today had a 2.0mtr High @ 7.00AM and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low around the 1.00PM mark.
Weather wise it’s been a typical hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Currently now at 2.15PM we have an outside temperature of 29 degree’s Celsius and Humidity at 75%. The wind is coming out of the SE at 11kms.
Our G-Land surf report thanks to the guys at the G-Land Surf Camp was also only calling wave height to be breaking in the waist to chest high region on the Pad. At 8.00AM East Java time there were 3 surfers in the water with glassy conditions.
