****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (’99) for todays 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the friendly little holiday island of Bali.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking real good, wave height had dropped down into the knee to waist high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And with the approaching high tide it’s not going to be getting any better.
So we decided to take another look back at Canggu. As you’ve seen in today’s photo gallery wave height wasn’t a hell of a lot bigger but still a few good little punchy peaks happening before the tide killed it as well. The right hander on the river mouth had an easy 25 – 30 surfers dropping in on each other. The left hander on the sand bar only had 10 surfers and the left hand reef break down in front of the cafe’s had another 20+ surfers in the water.
Surfing conditions at Canggu were clean and glassy up until the wind started to shift to the East around 10.00AM. Right now at 1.30PM the wind is coming out of the East at 11kms.
Tidal info for today had us down for a solid 2.6mtr High @ 11.30AM and then draining out for a total reef exposing 0.0mtr Low around the 6.00PM mark.
Our daily surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was also calling wave height to have backed off into the waist to head high class. The best waves were happening on the bottom end of Kongs and Money Tree’s. No surfers in the water at 8.30AM (East Java).

Looking at the swell situation tomorrow morning is not looking too promising but hopefully by Saturday we should have a little pulse of swell. Then further out later next week we should have a better looking swell hitting the reefs of Bali.
