****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (’99) for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the friendly little holiday island of Bali.
This mornings mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking real good, with only knee to waist high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There might have been some slightly biger set waves but I didn’t bother hanging around to long.
With similar weather conditions as yesterday we thought we’d head back to Canggu, knowing that it was going to be pretty small everywhere. As it shows in today’s photo gallery there was a few fun waves still be had. The river mouth was the most consistent with waist to head high waves and around 15 – 18 surfers on it. The sand bar wasn’t as consistent but still the odd head high set and only 4 – 7 surfers on it. There was also a few waves down on the left hand reef break with another dozen in the water there. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy when we arrived but by 10.00AM the wind was turning to the SSW-SSE.
Tidal info for today had a 2.0mtr High @ 8.00AM and then running out for a 0.7mtr Low around the 2.00PM mark.
Weather wise another mainly hot and sunny day with the odd scattered cloud. Currently now at 2.00PM the outside temperature is sitting bang on 30 degree’s Celsius with the wind now coming out of the SE @ 15kms.
The latest from G-Land thanks to the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that at 7.45AM (East Java) wave height was breaking in the waist to head high range on Kong’s and Money Tree’s. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with 1 surfer in the water.
