****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for calling back by the baliwaves (’99) to see what’s been happening surf and weather wise from here on the “always a wave somewhere” holiday island of Bali.
This morning we didn’t bother with going down to the beach for a visual on wave height on the Outer Reefs, we already knew there wasn’t gunna be much. So we thought we’d head back down to Uluwatu again, as it is Bali’s best swell magnet. We also thought / hoped by getting down there for the early we might also beat the crowd. Only barely, we turned up to find wave height hitting the Main Peak and Temple sections in the waist to head high range. There was the very very occasional slightly bigger set wave and by 10.00AM there would have been close to 90 surfers spread between the Peak and Temple’s.
Surfing conditions were mainly clean and glassy with the odd burst of off – shore and cross – shore wind thrown in.
Tidal info for today had a 0.9mtr Low @ 9.00AM and then running back in for a 1.9mtr High around the 3.00PM mark.
Weather wise it hasn’t been a bad beach day at all. Mainly hot and sunny with the odd patch of cloud drifting about. Currently right now at 4.30PM we have an outside temperature of 29 degree’s Celsius and the Humidity at 60%. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE @ 19kms.
Ok we’ve got another early morning session penciled in for tomorrow, but I should still have a another up date and new photos for ya’s before knock off time, Talk to ya’s then.
