****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (’99) for our SUNDAY SESSION with the latest and greatest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the friendly little tropical holiday island of Bali.
Ok so first things first our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs was pretty much showing similar sized waves as yesterday. Around the shoulder to over head range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with no wind present at 6.45AM.
But as you have already seen in today’s 58 strong photo gallery we had Ketut back behind the lens down on the southern end of the island. Ketut’s first stop was on the bridge over Padang Padang. Wave height was bending down the Impossibe stretch of reef in the waist to head high range. Once again only breaking in the waist to shoulder high class on Padang Padang.
Uluwatu had plenty of solid tube rides on offer with the Main Peak producing the best waves on the run in tide. Ketut also managed a quick stop in at Balangan and reckoned there was plenty of nice lines, both in the water and on the beach.
Tidal info for today had a 0.6mtr Low @ 6.00AM and then running back in for a solid 2.5mtr High around midday.
Weather wise it’s been a typical hot and sunny day around this part of the island. Right now @ 6.30PM the outside temperature is still riding on 27 degree’s Celsius and the humidity on 69%. Wind direction is out of the ESE @ 13kms.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to the G-Land Surf Camp was calling in wave height to be holding in the head to double head high range. With the South in this swell direction the best waves were hitting Money Tree’s down to the Pad. And another big chance of another Speed Reef session through late afternoon.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning, see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost. The point is 300,000 plus bogans go to bali every yearand even more from other countries? How can such a small island support this? Isnt it in your buisiness interests to report the situation accurately and help being pro active?

I don’t understand mate ? I mean it is the year 2011 right. Surfing is the most popular “sport” these days in pretty much any country right. How many guys are on the superbank, Narrabeen, Bells, pipe, etc etc etc or even your local on any given day that it is well and truelly cranking.
Airports don’t only do in bound flights right. They also probably fly just as many out each day right.
Sorry but I don’t do airport arrival / departure stats, only surfing photos and surf reports.
Thanks Greg
