****LATE AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello friends and thanks for calling by the baliwaves ’99 for the latest. Well honestly there’s just been too much happening the last couple of days to be sitting in front of a computer, but better late than never right. Anyway this mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was still bucketing through waves in the solid over head to tripple high plus between Kuta Reef and Airports. Too much water moving around out there with the tide still running out for a 0.3mtr Low at 8.00AM.
We took our time and made our way down to the southern end of the island and the busniss end of the swell. First stop at Balangan to see some solid waves breaking out on the point and through the middle and end sections. Some serious work involved in getting
out the back, no surfers in the water. Then we took a quick stop on the bridge over Padang Padang to see the top end of Impossible’s breaking consistently in the solid over head range. Padang Padang I was told has been smoking the last couple of mornings. I’ve also got another 300 photos from these sessions to start editing for ya’s after dinner. So stay tuned, I’ll be putting them up in installements cause there’s just too many of em.
We finished off today’s session with a stop off at Uluwatu. As it shows in the first segment of today’s gallery, Uluwatu had some solid waves breaking. Then the rest of the gallery is from our friends at ESP located in “Julies Warung” down at Bingin Beach, shot through out yesterday the 17th.
Today’s High Tide was 1.8mtrs @ 2.00PM
Today’s weather was mainly hot and sunny with some scattered patches of cloud. Clean off shore wind through out the morning coming out of the SE-SSE-SE.
