****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for calling by the baliwaves ’99 for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on everybody’s favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
It was a pre dawn start for us this morning, arriving at Balian around 6.30AM. Well worth the drive to find wave height hitting the A Frame river mouth peak in the chest to well over head range. Surfing conditions were pristine with an early morning off shore wind that lasted through until 9.45AM, before turning light on shore. Even when we hit the highway for home at 12.00 noon there were still some nice waves rolling through.
So the first 30 or so photos in today’s gallery were shot this morning up the coast, while the second segment was delivered to us late last night by our friends at ESP located in “Julies Warung” at Bingin Beach. Plus if I get time I’ll load up the second installment from Padang Padang on our last solid swell.
Tidal info for today had a 1.7mtr High around 6.00AM and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low around midday.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day and currently right now at 5.15PM the outside temperature is a warm 27 degree’s Celsius, humidity is on 74%. Wind direction is coming out of the E-SE @ 7-10knot.
