****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and thanks for calling by the baliwaves ’99 for the latest news on surfing and weather information from here on the World’s best value for dollar tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 6.15AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking too bad with the swell predictors on the ball and another slight increase in wave height. I didn’t see any surfers in the water at the time but there were waves in the waist to over head class breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Clean surfing conditions with the wind only just detectible out of the North.
As it shows in today’s 49 strong photo gallery we headed back up to Canggu, and a good call. The best waves were happening on the right hand river mouth section with around 17 surfers on it. The left hand sand bar was also producing a few wedges for the half a dozen surfers riding it. Clean off shore wind up at Canggu this morning lasting through until about 9.45AM when she dedicated to the West.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 1.6mtr High @ 8.00AM and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low scheduled for around the 1.30PM mark.
Weather wise it was another mainly cloudy and overcast morning with the odd patch of sunshine. Temperature wise right now at 12.15PM the outside temperature is sitting on a warm 30 degree’s Celsius heading for a high of 35C. Wind direction is out of the West at 10knot. Sunrise was at 5.51AM and will set at 6.28PM.
