****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello again and once again we’re happy to bring ya’s the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here the only place to be, on the tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
This mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was pretty well as expected, showing wave height to be maxing out between Kuta Reef and Airports. There was also plenty of big tow sets roaring through out in the middle of the bay. In the half hour or so I was on the beach I saw one fishing boat (non traditional) smashed to bits by the shorey. And what also seemed to be a lifeguard rescue mission for some ocean un educated Asian tourists stuck out on the rock wall.
I’ve been down checking it constantly through out the day, and on my last recon at 11.00AM there were still some solid waves in the triple head high plus class on Middle Reef but it looked to be settling down at KR. We are still going to take a run down to Uluwatu this afternoon to see what’s happening on the lower end of the tide. So tune in later tonight if your interested.
Today’s news from G-Land had wave height rocking on to the reef in the triple head high plus sector. And every chance in the World for an afternoon session on Speed Reef. Fingers crossed we’ll have some photos from the G-land Surf Camp in just a few more days when the next trip back to Bali returns.
Tidal info for today had a 2.4mtr High @ 10.00Am and then is going to be drawing back to a 0.3mtr Low around the 3.30PM mark.
Weather wise so far we’ve had pretty well nothing but blue sky and sunshine. Early this morning the wind was coming lightly out of the N-NE before the SE Trade wind kicked in around mid morning.

Looks like classic Padang2 slim. What’s with the photographers in the water, I’d be a bit mean if they got in the way of a wave of mine!!!
