****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hey how you doing, and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves.com (since ’99) to find out what’s been happening again here on every surfer in their right minds favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so I got that dirty water off my chest in yesterdays report and I’m over it. Thanks for putting up with my ravings every now an again. I’m really probably just like you, an average type of person.
Alright I’ve got a total overload of photos to get loaded up for ya’s but I’m gunna keep it current for now and just give ya’s today’s batch from up at Canggu (then it’s seafood BBQ time here at home). This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs had wave height pegged in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And there was already a few boat loads of punters in the water at 6.45AM.
At the time the wind was coming lightly outta the N-NW and the tide was just about at the top of the High. So it was an easy call to head for Canggu. As it shows wave height up there was a consistent waist to head high with the very occasional bigger freak set. Surfing conditions were pretty clean at first but then the wind flicked to the SW then right back to dead West. Not too crowded, just the normal 25 – 50 surfers spread between the sandbar and the right hander.
Tidal info for today had a 1.7mtr High @ 6.30Am then a 1.0mtr Low @ midday and we’ll get another 1.7mtr High around 6.00PM.
Our man Troy surfed down at Uluwatu this morning and he reckoned there were some almost square barrels coming through down on the Temple section in the 3-4ft range.
Weather wise outside right now @ 3.00Pm the mercury is hanging on the 31 degree Celsius mark, perfect holiday weather. And too me from outside my window it looks like the wind may have swung back to the SE and off shore, it’s also got that off shore kinda smell to it, only a surfer would know.

Alrighty, I’ll get Ketut to see if he can cut ya’s some photos from down at Uluwatu I smacked yesterday and even a few shots from Serangan on Bali’s East Coast thrown in just for the heck of it. I should also have a heads up from G-Land coming your way tomorrow afternoon as well.
Is that a nipple popping out of the chick’s bikini in the first photo of her bottom turning? Excellent camera work!!
Hi Willow, nah I think it’s just a dust mark on my lens. But it’s good to see a healthy imagination at work 🙂 cheers mate. Slim
Hey Slim. I’ve sent it to a few mates and they are all definitiely calling it nipple…you’re an honourable man protecting young *&^%$# dignity but it’s definitely nipple… 😉
P.S. I didn’t realise at first that the young lady in question was &^%$#@ *^$%%#$@*, can surf that girl and great nipples to boot!
