****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (since 1999) to see what’s going down surf and weather wise right here on the with out a doubt best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar, BALI.
Well as predicted by the swell predicting guns of Stormsurf, wave height is still only trickling through on the Outer Reefs. That was on our early morning surf check 6.30AM. Wave height between Kuta Reef was just a smidgen bigger than yesterdays size with 1-2 footers. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light SE off shore wind. Today’s photo gallery was shot down along the Legian beach strip. On average the beach breaks were in the waist high sector with the very occasional head high freak set, 7 surfers in the water 8.00AM.
Today’s G-Land surf report (9.00AM) thanks to David over at the G-Land Surf Camp was also not that much different to yesterdays discription, waist to shoulder high with the odd bigger set wave breaking on Money Tree’s. A bit more size around on Kong’s but more open to the strong off shore wind. David has also emailed us through another short photo gallery from yesterday afternoon’s session, so I’ll get those up for you shortly.
If your interested in getting some G-Land Experience just contact us on this link and we’ll set you up at the G-Land Surf Camp with a solid discount.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.8mtr Low at 1.29PM, followed by a 1.5mtr High at 7.24PM.
Weather wise it’s been a little crazy, or out of the ordinary to say the least. Starting off with a partly sunny morning before the clouds filled in the blue. Some light scattered rain here in Tuban just before midday. Now at 1.15PM we are seeing more blue sky again. Temperature wise outside the mercury is sitting on 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 79%. Wind direction is coming hard off shore from the SE at 13 – 18knot.
Swell Forecast for the next 7 days is looking exceptionally good starting with our first new swell on Monday morning. Then another system will roll in on the back of the first through Tuesday. Followed closely behind on Wednesday by a much more solid system that will take us through to the weekend. (stormsurf)
