****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves.com (Bali’s only original surf report website since 1999 & full Media Partners with the ISC TOUR).
Well as I mentioned the other day, seeing as yesterday the 17th was Independence Day for Indonesia and a public holiday right across Indo Ketut and I also took the day off and spent it out on the blue (green) water with our Balinese fishing team. And I can proudly say that Team baliwaves took out the honors with most (sport) fish boated on the day.
How ever there were a few waves breaking along Bali’s West Coast ranging from 2 – 4ft from between Canggu down to Uluwatu, with a hard core SE Trade wind gusting up to 25 knots at times.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking too exciting with even smaller waves in the 1-2ft class breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The off shore Trade wind is already doing it’s thing and puffing pretty hard. So what I have done is loaded up[ a solid photo gallery featuring Bingin that was delivered to us from our good mates at ESP (Ego Surf Photography) who are always ready right in front of the action at Bingin Beach.
Weather wise out there at the moment (11.00AM) we have a mainly sunny day with the off cloud drifting past. Temperature wise the mercury is sitting on 27 degree’s Celsius with the humidity on 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the East at 31kmh.
Later today I’ll also be loading you up another round of photos from G-Land thanks to the G-Land Surf Camp. Plus there’s more reports and photos from the Mentawai Islands, thanks to The Real Kandui Surf Resort. So you better check in again later on right.
I tell ya the last couple of days here in Bali has been a real pleasure in Bali with absolutely no traffic jams just local Balinese folk. So now we know where all the traffic does come from.

Oh yeah and before I forget dept; Sorry to all our Impossible surf cam kickers but as of yesterday she is back on line and totally free to view at your will. It just needs a little zooming ans slight re positioning but other than that you can see the lines peeling down the reef.
