****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday island of BALI.
Well I hoped you liked the G-Land “Put up or shut up” expression session that went down on the 7th, hot surfing in perfect G-land waves.
Firstly sorry about not being able to post anything yesterday, it was just one of those occassional attacks I get of the dreaded “hot and cold sweats”. And sweat and shiver indeed I did. Feeling way better today and able to hold the 600mm again for ya’s.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a considerable drop in wave height, down into the 2-3ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was realistically too low for Kuta Reef or Airport Left, and with only the Middle Reef an option it was already looking crowded at 6.45AM.
We were down on location at Uluwatu and if any of you had logged onto the baliwaves face book page you would have seen a live photo I loaded (via i-phone). Wave height at Ulu was also down into the 2-4ft region and with the wind light out of the West at 3-7knot. But still there were plenty of semi clean waves bending down through the Racetrack section and only 20 surfers in the water at 10.00AM. It was a typical “changing of the seasons” type of wind today that saw wind from just about all points of the compass while we were on location.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a o.2mtr Low at 5.23PM
Weather wise it’s been another mainly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island with a few patches of cloud drifting over from time to time.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning (pending Huey), see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost. Hit this info link to find out more. Limited space, so get in early or you’ll be doing it the hard way.
We also have a few “Home Stay” type rooms available for any of our viewers looking for some clean and tidy accommodation here in Tuban. all rooms are air conditioned, including breakfast for Rp225,000 per night, or Rp300,000 for couples. Surfers need to apply, party animals head for Kuta.
Located just a short walk down to the beach right in front of Kuta Reef, Middle Reef & Airport Left & Right.
Feel free to contact us via email about your next trip to Bali and we might just be able to help make it run a little smoother for you.
Best Regards from Bali
Slim
