****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (since 1999) for today’s news and vies of surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of BALI.
We kicked off with the morning surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban at 6.45AM to find wave height had backed off quite a bit from yesterday but still a solid 3-5ft+ breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were very clean and tidy with the wind up early out of the SE at 3-5knot. The tide was still pretty low so we snuck back over to Serangan on the East Coast for a quick and un crowded surf. Serangan was still pumping through some solid 6 foot set waves and still fairly clean in the light on shore surfing conditions. Not too bad with only 8 surfers spread over 3 different sections.
As the Tradewind started to increase in strength we jumped back in the car and headed south for Balangan. With the tide no not far off the top of the tide Balangan was dishing out a consistent over head to double head high plus from the point and down through the middle sections for some long rides between the close outs.
Ok so we have another full day of chasing waves again tomorrow coming up so make sure you stay tuned to the original Bali surf report.
