BALI
29th October 2012
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping it real since 1999) for the start of another surfing week here on the real deal destination for your next tropical surfing holiday BALI.
Alright, we did it again. Another early start and on the road by 6.00AM to time the tide for our rendezvous over on Bali’s East Coast. Arriving right on schedule to fine some pretty nice waves smoking through in the 3-4ft+ (head to well over head high) and only a mellow crew of 12 other surfers with the same mind set. Surfing conditions could not have been better for this location, another light off shore wind that eventually turned to glass. I toughed it out on the black sand beach with the sun blazing for 3 hours blasting away, (this is going to come to an end as soon as I get my ear drilled in Feb ’13) and I tell ya’s it was hot. Surfing conditions stayed clean and true through until 10.10AM when the SE Tradeind started to flare up. But even when we packed it up at 11.30AM surfing conditions were still smooth with 8 surfers left in the water.
I also had a secure report from a good friend calling some good waves happening further down the southern end of the island this morning.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report from the G-Land Surf Camp read “solid 4ft with the odd bigger set waves breaking from Kongs and down through Money tree’s and a sick late season day coming on for the few left in camp”
We also have a Full Moon rising here in Bali tonight so we are going to be seeing some bigger and better tidal ranges over the next few days. But not neccessarily bigger and better swell….
Ok folks that’s me another solid day and time to wash up and get some dinner. Tune in again tomorrow cause if there’s any waves to be had here in Bali we’ll be on it. Keeping you stoked right here on the original Bali surf report, right !
Can you send Slim a text surf report from where you are in Indo today ? after the best conditions have already passed and you’ve had your fill of course ! Do it daily and you can promote a buisness at the same time (maybe get a free nasi goreng at your local warung, who knows). Contact me via email if your interested.
You’ll also find baliwaves on Facebook, twitter & instagram so get on it !
