BALI
31st Oct – 1st Movember
Hello everyone and another big thanks from the team here at baliwaves (keeping it on lione since 1999) for the latest and always the greatest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice to spend your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok so I’ve been putting in the big ones last week and yesterday was no different and giving our crew staying here with us just that little bit extra that we all kinda want. We turned up at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu to have another crack at the low tide tube churning Racetrack around 6.30AM and these photos in our new gallery are the proof. Wave height was only coming through in the chest to head high range but surfing conditions were pristine.
This morning with a light on shore wind already showing here on the West Coast we made a run over to the most consistent right hand wave of Keramas. We knew wave height was fading away today but still there were some fun sized waist to shoulder high set waves for the 20 surfers on location. Surfing conditions remained clean and glassy through until 9.30Am when the SSW wind started picking up.
Today’s sms text report from Lewie who was at Serangan was also calling in wave height in the 1-2ft+ sector but with a lot more traffic in the water.
Today’s G-Land sms text report from the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to have also have backed off into the 2-3ft range with the best waves hitting Kong’s down to the Ledge. And at 8.00AM there were only 2 surfers in the water getting some semi long rides.
Weather wise we got off to another overcast start this morning but by 9.00Am on the black sand beach of Keramas the temperature would have been already pushing through into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale and continuing to climb through out the afternoon.

Ok I’m going to cruise down to the beach for an sunset surf check and maybe a cold beer with my crew. Hopefully tomorrow we will see a new swell and a slight increase in wave height. Sooooo, keep your Bali stoke alive right here on Indonesia’s No.1 surf report website.
Oh yeah, feel free to make a copy if you see a photo of you or your friend on baliwaves but the photos I load onto site are in very low resolution (4 from 12) and don’t make good enlargements. I do keep all the original files though.
Can you send Slim a text surf report from where you are in Indo today ? after the best conditions have already passed and you’ve had your fill of course ! Do it daily and you can promote a buisness at the same time (maybe get a free nasi goreng at your local warung, who knows). Contact me via email if your interested.
You’ll also find baliwaves on Facebook, twitter & instagram so get on it !
many regards to all bali surfers from panama city republic of panama.
