BALI
28th November 2012
Hi crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (since 1999) for today’s news and best views of today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of BALI.
The boys and I were up early this morning and still too dark for a surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban. We were on our way back up the West Coast to see what was happening up at one of everyone’s favorite surfing locations of Balian. As it shows in the first half of today’s photo gallery we arrived to find a crowd of 10 surfers and wave height up the 3-4ft plus sector. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light off shore wind that lasted through until 10.00AM. Surprising low number of surfers in this area today but I can assure you nothing has change in regards to the knarliest traffic on the “highway”.
The second half of today’s photo’s Ketut shot at Canggu, also here along Bali’s West Coast. Ketut reckons wave height was hanging in there in the 2-3ft range and also low numbers in the water. Surfing conditions were pretty much the same as Balian.
Today’s weather information had a mainly hot and sunny day up the coast at Balian while rain fell in the Canggu area. At the moment outside at 5.00PM the sky looks like it’s setting up for some rain action later this evening and possible thunder storm.

The giant lens works a treat mate!
cheers Mate, yeah I pulled it out of the moth balls, I only used to use this lens before I got lazy and started using the 600mm without tripod. The 1000mm rules again now !!!!
I might just be giving it another run real soon 🙂
