Hello everyone and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for today;s news and latest views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
This morning dawned a welcomed blue sky (re our twitter report this morning) and an almost non existant only just detectible North wind. So seeing as though I was due for a break we got Ketut to first, take a run to Canggu for a look. By 8.00AM the wind was already fresh on shore and the head to almost double head high waves pretty messed up, no surfers in the water.
From there he cut straight across to the East coast and continued his run a little further North to Keramas. Arriving around 8.45AM and comenced to blast away with the Nikon and produce this current photo gallery. He reckoned wave height at the time was a consistent head to almost double head high with the occassional bigger freak set. Already around 40 surfers in the small take off area and the wind light on shore outta the WSW. Ketut hung out at Keramas until 11.00AM and by this time surfing conditions had pretty much blow out.
Should still be plenty of swell hanging around Bali again tomorrow so if you get time make sure you call into the baliwaves.com
Weather wise today in Bali it was a fantastic morning with blue sky and light wind. But by early afternoon the cloud started to fill back in and we might see a shower or two before the nights out.
