Well thanks again to Ketut who has been vigilant shooting photos for us in Slim’s absence. This current photo gallery was shot up at Canggu on Bali’s West Coast. Wave height is still only just hanging in there in that waist to head high range the last couple of days. Ketut reckons numbers have been in the 30 – 40 between Echo beach and the river mouth.

This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the waist to waist high plus class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time (6.45AM) were clean as silk with the wind only just detectable coming out of the North. My latest up date from Ketut was saying that the wind (as it did yesterday as well) has swung back to the ESE providing a light off shore wind from Kuta Beach all the way down to Uluwatu.

So I’d have to imagine that Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu would be worth a look for more size and power.

Looking to the swell forecasters for the next 7 days and it’s not looking that exciting with only waist to slightly over head sized surf. And I don’t think there’s going to be too many over head days, mainly under head high.

Weather wise there was some light early morning cloud cover that has burnt off to leave a mainly blue sky on the holiday island and just another hot and sunny day coming on.

Ok I’ll be booking into the hospital tomorrow to finally get my ear drilled out so I may not feel too much like turning on the computer. But things can only get better from there on in so thanks heaps for your patience.
