BALI
6th April 2013
Selamat Hari Raya Kuningan to all our Balinese friends for today.
Hi folks and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report website since 1999) and the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Another early start for me and my crew today and just in time to see the sun rising, not the best time for photo perfection. But still nice all the same for a lad who grew up on the Eastern side of Australia. And I tell ya we were not watching it on our own, with already 16 surfers out on the Keramas main break. No surfers riding the car park section so that was us for the most of it. Around 9.00AM the real numbers started arriving and I’d have to say it was “ladies day” up there today.
Weather wise another stinking bloody well hot day (that’s from a photographers perspective standing out in the sun on the sparkling black sand staring into the sun). But from a surfers perspective however it was probably pretty darn good. Currently right now at 2.30PM the outside temperature is sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is coming out of the East at 18kms.
The next tide today will be a 2.0mtr High at 7.30PM.
Ok friends it’s Saturday afternoon here on the holiday island and time to shut this thing down.
The Japanese lady surfers seem to be quality surfers by the looks these days
The young lady in the first 3 photos is from Hawaii 🙂
