BALI
5th May 2013
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for our Sunday Session on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Well it’s been another nice day here on the island of the God’s with pretty much nothing more than blue sky and sunshine along the West Coast. This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be breaking in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And of course the Middle Reefs were picking up the bigger set waves.
As it shows in today’s photo gallery Ketut took the camera equipment for a run up to Canggu and by the look of the photos there was some clean and tidy waves in the 2-3ft+ sector on the sand bar and the right hand rocky river mouth sections. According to Ketut who was on location between 6.45AM and 9.30AM there was no shortage of surfers in the area. It was around 9.30Am when the SE Tradewind started building in strength turning the early morning conditions to cross / on shore.
I also had a report calling some 3-4 footers breaking up at Keramas on Bali’s East Coast at midday but with a low tide and already on shore wind.
Ok friends stay tuned cause we’ll be back out there bringing you some of the best of whats on offer surf wise again tomorrow.
