Hello everyone and thanks again for taking the time out to stop by your baliwaves.com (working through the weekend since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination called BALI.

Ok well I’ve had a nice rest day today but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been down the beach half a dozen times. My first surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a healthy boost in wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Right. At 7.00AM the wind still had a little bit of light Northerly in it but still clean and tidy surfing conditions. Kuta Reef was peeling off nicely in the 3-4ft class (head to well over head high) and quite a few early birds already out there. Middle Reef was pulling in waves in the head to double head high range but I didn’t see any takers out there while the tide was still running in. Airport Left I’d have to call at in the head to almost double head high range and there was a few riders out there.

I also had a heads up report from Keramas calling wave height in the 3-4ft range but with a solid contingency of surfers on it. I would imagine there would have been some solid barrels happening down on the Southern end of the island at Bingin and Uluwatu when the tide was bottoming out.

We’ll be heading out tomorro morning to collect a new photo gallery for you so don’t drift to far away from the original Bali surf report for our Sunday Session.

Weather wise today we kicked off with a classic blue sky and a perfect morning. The wind did swing to the East and off shore here on Bali’s premier coast line, lasting through until after midday before varying to the NW – W -SW. Right now at 6.00PM the sky is clouded over again and it looks like more rain on the agenda later tonight.
