Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time out to drop into the baliwaves (Bali’s original surf report website since 1999) for another look at surfing and weather conditions today from here on the only fair dinkum place to come for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok well I was up packing the camera equipment at 5.00AM this morning and hoping to catch some waves in the right light. This mornings conditions were telling me that Canggu was the place to head to so I was there and ready to roll by 6.45AM. With the tide only an hour and a half off the top of a 2.3mtr High the waves were already just a touch to fat for tube rides. But there were some nice walls on the right hander and the wind off shore outta the North. The left hand sand bar also had the occassional peak peeling off but most of her waves were mutated from the heavy back wash. Surfing conditions stayed clean and glassy right through until I packed up around 9.00AM. Crowd wise there might have been only around 15 -20 riding the river mouth right hander and another half a dozen surfing the sand bar.
My 12.00 noon surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be only ranging in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Sufing conditions were just passable with the wind coming out of the WSW and on shore at 10kms. Still no sign of the Dry Season “officially” starting as yet.
The next tide today in Bali is going to be a 0.5mtr Low just after 3.00PM
Weather wise out there it was a mostly sunny morning but now at 12.45PM there is some thick clouds starting to build to the South. Temperature wise right now the mercury is still sitting on a very warm 32 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 79%. Wind direction is WSW at 10kms+ and the sun is going to set at 6.07PM.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Seminyak this morning; –1US$=Rp9,810. — 1AU$=Rp9,400. —
