Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com again (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban had wave height breaking in the 3-4ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time surfing conditions were still fairly clean and glassy but with the wind light and variable. We hung out till later this afternoon hoping the SE Tradewind would kick in but nothing doing today.
This current batch of photos we shot down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu on the bottom end of the tide late this afternoon. As it shows there was still plenty of swell hitting Ulu but unfortunately the wind was coming fresh out of the S-SW.
Our man on the scene over on the East Coast of Bali sent through his first report at 7.30AM calling wave height to be hitting Keramas in the 2-4ft+ range. Clean and glassy with the odd burst of off shore wind but already 28 surfers on the main break. I’ve also included a few photo Kadek took from around the Keramas area this morning at the end of the gallery.
Weather wise it was a mostly sunny day with some cloud drifting through, say 50 / 50.
Ok more swell has been predicted for tomorrow and we’ll be heading out to hopefully a different location first thing in the morning so stay tuned and get ready for another weekend of waves here on the baliwaves.com
