BALI
21st December 2013
Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves.com (bringing you a little taste of Bali each day since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This morning dawned grey and overcast and has pretty well stayed that way all day. But anyway we were still hoping to find a little more size today at Uluwatu and we didn’t care if the wind was light on shore out of the SW. But arriving at 9.00AM to dissapointedly see wave height breaking on the Main Peak in only the 1-2ft+ range, again. But we hung out for awhile and as the tide filled in and the rain semi cleared away there may just have been a few freak set waves pushing the head high class.
I’ve also been given a few photos from my friend Mr Pat who went for a swim with his pocket camera yesterday while we were at Canggu, the last 5 photos. Thanks Pat.
I’m also trying to track down our web cam technician as I type to reset everything and get those images rolling over for us again, so hang in there.
That’s me for now I’m knocking off (5.45PM Friday arvo) and having a beer with the boys. But stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report as we’ll be working through the weekend.
Weather wise, crappy.
We’d also like to wish all our supporters a Very Merry Christmas where ever you may be, and everything bigger and better in the New Year to come. Thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com and we do have a few new plans for 2014 that’s going to keep you stoked.
Speaking of Christmas, if your in the market for new sunglasses then check out the Dusty Payne polarized model from Electric here in Bali. I don’t leave home without mine.
Hi Slim, good to see your mate Dana back in Bali. Hope you have a great Christmas, in count down mode now. See you in 2014.
