BALI
10th December 2013
Hello again everyone and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar of Bali.
Ok well with this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban only just showing a wave in the knee to knee high plus region between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The tide was still running out and the wind light on shore out of the W-WSW.
So just for the need to get wet and have a paddle the boys and I headed down to Uluwatu, there’s always a wave at Ulu. Arriving to find 1-2ft waves here as well but with a chest to head high freak bomb set wave every now and again. There was only a scattered 10-20 surfers in the water while the wind went from the West right around to the South and then settled in from the SSE by 2.00PM.
Hopefully tomorrow sometime we’ll see a small pulse in wave height so we’ll be out there on the wave trail again for sure.
Today’s sms surf report from Keramas came through at 8.30AM calling in wave height at 1-2ft with 8 surfers in the water. Surfing conditions were clean, glassy, and shallow.
Weather wise it started off nicely with loads of blue sky and a warm midday temperature. Now this afternoon at 5.30PM the cloud has rolled over for maybe a few drops of rain later tonight.
Slim,
Headed out to Sanur on Sunday, then heading to Nusa Dua and Keramas for a bit.
