BALI
13th – 14th March 2014
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (showing you what you want to see since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Sorry I never got a chance to get this one loaded yesterday as I had to do the Dad thing and get my youngest to the Dr’s. But anyway our first surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left in the 2-4ft range. Surfing conditions were still clean at the time with the wind a light NNW.
So as it shows in this photo gallery we hit the highway West for Canggu. Arriving at 7.40AM to find some clean 3-4ft wave s breaking on all 3 of the main sections in this area, and maybe even the off 5ft freak set. Surfing conditions were clean but with the wind starting to shift more to the Western quad. Then at 9.30AM some big black clouds moved in with some rain. As the rain settled down and the crowd thinned out to 5 surfers with the wind switched back to more cross shore direction.
I also loaded up a couple of photos of our fishing guests returning from their day out on the water yesterday. Contact me if you’d like to get out there ans try your luck.
Our man at Keramas phoned through at 7.15Am call in wave height on the main brake at 2-3ft with clean and glassy surfing conditions with 15 surfers in the line up.
I also loaded another handful of photos from our good friends at the Kandui surf resort up in the Mentawai islands and you can check those out on the Kandui surf report page.
The good people at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp are still offering you a 10% discount for early bookings into G-Land. So if you want to save some cash make sure you contact us first to get the discount.
Weather wise we had a hot and sunny morning before the cloud and rain and finishing off with a warm and humid afternoon.
This morning the 14th and at 7.00AM we have a mainly overcast sky and a very light and variable wind.
Lets go surfing !!!
We also have another new beautiful ex-pat owned Villa listed in our real estate section going for an un believable price, so if your thinking of changing your lifestyle or investing make sure you check it out here.
