BALI
13th – 14th June 2014
Hello everyone and a big thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and views from Bali, G-Land and the Mentawai islands.
Ok so firstly I suppose today’s 90 strong photo gallery was smashed out at Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast yesterday the 13th. We turned up around 7.00AM to an incoming tide and light off shore Northerly wind, it was cranking.
Today the 14th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height in the knee to waist high plus region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were still clean at the time but with the ESE Trade wind already starting to kick in.
So we decided on heading down to Uluwatu, Bali’s premier surfing location and swell magnet. Arriving to find wave height in the 2-3ft class with a few 4 foot freaky’s. Not your usual Ulu but still there were some waves with a clean off shore wind. I did shoot some photos and I’ll get them on line for ya’s ASAP.
In the mean time make sure you check out the new photos from G-Land, Mentawai islands and Bingin all loaded into the respective pages in our reports section.
Weather wise today it wasn’t too bad with plenty of sunny patches and top temp of 29 degree’s Celsius (winter).
Don’t forget the up coming eco weekend and contests coming up next weekend. Check these links to find out exactly what’s going to be going down.
