Ok what we’ve got to you today thanks to our man Ketut P is 131 photos from down at Padang Padang yesterday. Ketut was on the scene from 7.30AM waiting for the call to see if the 2014 RipCurl Cup would run or not. These photos were shot while the boys and girl were out free surfing in some perfect double to triple head high waves.

Eventually the call was given to start the contest shortly after the tide had bottomed out and starting to run back in. Ketut hung out for the whole day down at Padang Padang and ended shooting another 900 photos from the actual contest. I haven’t even looked through those ones yet started to edit any of them. I’ll probably take that job on after lunch so stay tuned for those ones. The contest ended up running through until 5.00PM yesterday afternoon before being called off due to wave height backing off and the tide filling in.

With the finals still to run RipCurl and the remaining competitors were hoping for an early start this morning for the deciding heats. Ketut was back down there waiting for the call but eventually by mid morning it was called off. But looking to the swell charts we do have another solid swell in transit to Bali and should slam into us early next week.

I’ve also got more photos from Joyo’s G-Land surf camp and from our friends at EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY down at Bingin Beach. Coming as fast as my two hands can get them loaded up, so keep an eye on our “RECENT POSTS” section.

Weather wise it’s been pretty good the last couple of days and right now (6th) at 12.00 noon we have more blue sky than not and temperature sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 80%. Wind direction is coming hard out of the SE at 9 – 14knot.
