Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the start of another surf week, and the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so this mornings 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a nice little spike in wave height, with 2-4 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still on the rise and the wind light out of the NE at the time. Nice fun sized waves on all 3 of the main sections.
But as it shows in today’s 70 strong photo gallery we were on location up the coast a little ways at Canggu. Arriving around 8.30Am to find wave height in the 2-4ft+ range with a clean off shore wind. Crowd wise it was pretty normal with around 65 surfers scattered through the 3 main breaks in the area.
Weather wise today it’s been another hot and sunny day in the tropics for the luck people here on vacation. Temperature wise right now at 3.45PM it’s still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 58%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 10 – 13knot blowing off shore from Kuta to Uluwatu.
New swell should be in our faces by tomorrow morning.
Ok one of the better Lombok & Sumbawa surf charter boats sent me an email earlier to let you people know that they have 3 scheduled charters left to see out the season.
Dreamweaver has only three trips with seats available before the end of our scheduled 2014 season, the dates with seats still left are Sept 30 to Oct 7, Oct 9 to 16, and Oct 18 to 25.
