BALI
29th -30th October 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (the one and only baliwaves surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok with yesterday’s surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban showing wave height in the 1-2ft region and the wind light out of the North I had Ketut take a run up to Canggu to see if there were any waves happening. And as it shows in today’s 41 strong photo gallery it wasn’t too bad at all. With the best waves hitting the sand bar and not to bad crowd wise, well for Canggu anyway.
This morning the 30th and our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still only showing wave height in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running out for a 8.00AM low tide and the wind was light out of the North. I’d say as the tide fills in later this afternoon there’s won’t be too much breaking out the front. But then again there are rumors of a slight spike in wave height sometime today, fingers crossed right.
Our baliwaves.com WEB CAM is back in action and finally delivering us some nice wide angle line up images from Impossibe’s. I’ve included 3 frames from this morning to finish of today’s gallery. So make sure you check it out through out the day and see if we do get that spike in wave height.
Ketut has called in from Uluwatu this morning and calling in chest to head high waves hitting the low tide Racetrack section. Only 12 surfers in the water at 8.15AM. Surfing conditions were still clean with the odd tube ride on offer even though the wind is now coming lightly out of the South.
Weather wise outside this morning we have had a mainly hot, sunny and humid morning so far here on the holiday island. Right now at 8.45AM the wind is light out of the S-SW and the temperature is a warm 27 degree’s Celsius and rising.

Once again I’m seeing more and more people who have left their brains and common sense at home ? Riding around on motor bikes on main roads without any foot wear, no shirts and no helmets. The feeling of freedom must feel so good…. until the shit hits the fan. So use your head and don’t lose it ! if your riding a motor bike on the busy crazy roads on Bali make sure you wear a helmet with the strap done up.
Hey if your in Bali this Saturday night make sure you head to the MANTRA resto and bar up on Jalan Petitenget Raya, Seminyak for a fund raising action of some really cool stuff with proceeds going to Yayasan Putri Bali, a foundation that helps burn victoms in Bali. For more information

Well Slim, they deserve everything that happens to them IMO. They drive like pinheads, worse than the lokals pretty much and sometimes outdoing them in their quest to prove they are idiots. It’s not just these surfer/surfette travelers, all the yogini tikus/ratlets up in Ubud, same thing, they are so surprised when they go down; I just give em a BIG thumbs up and drive around them..
“Crowd not to so bad for Canggu” eh man..sighhh and the beat goes on..
