BALI
4th – 5th November 2014
Hello everyone and a really big thank you to all of you for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) again today, for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions here on our favorite little tropical holiday destination called BALI.
Ok so everyone knows that the last few days here in Bali have only been producing small to micro sized waves around Bali. But there have been waves out there for those that have been bothered to make the effort and search a little bit. As it shows in today’s 115 strong photo gallery covering the 3rd, 4th & 5th just gone by we have been doing pretty well and staying one step ahead of most.
The first half of our gallery features Bali’s Premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Yesterday we made our way down there arriving around 6.45AM to find super clean and glassy surfing conditions with wave height in the 2-3ft range and maybe the odd super freak slightly overhead set thrown in. Only around 15 surfers in the water at the time which made it even sweeter.
The day before on the 3rd we were back over on the East Coast scoring some fine little left and right handers. Again super clean surfing conditions through the early morning session with only 4 other surfers in the water dropping out to just my 2 guys to finish off the session.
I also through a handful of photos in from the start of this years annual Kuta Beach Fishing Tournament, before things got seriously underway, down along Kuta beach.
Today the 5th and our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing it to be pretty well flat out there between Kuta reef and Airport Left / Right. The tide was still running in at the time and surfing conditions were clean and glassy. Ketut and Made have taken the long boards down to Kuta Beach for some fun and that would probably be the best place to go for a splash today.
Tomorrow the 6th and the charts are showing a nice little spike in wave height so that’s something to look forward to. So make sure ya stay tuned to the one and only baliwaves.
Weather wise out side right now at 11.00AM we have a good looking day out there with nothing but blue sky and a light off shore wind. temperature wise the mercury is sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius and I’d say it’s going to get a little hotter before it cools down this afternoon.
