BALI
8th November 2014
Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend here on your baliwaves.com (the original and only baliwaves since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place we’d all rather be BALI.
Ok so this mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still holding in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was low at the time and surfing conditions were clean and glassy. At the time it was shaping up for a good one with plenty of waves and clean surfing conditions.
So we decided on heading down to Balangan to try and find some waves without to many surfers around. Arriving at 7.30AM to see wave some 2-3 footers peeling off on the point and middle section with only 5 surfers in the water. It was around 9.00AM that the wind started to dedicate to the S-SW and slowly build in strength and with the tide peaking at 10.30AM things were not getting any better. That’s about the time that our European learner surfer crew usually start to fill in at Balangan (and they did) so we called it a day after one session.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, just a pity about the S-SW wind I guess.
The swell forecasters are talking of another small spike in wave height some time tomorrow so hopefully that holds true. Stay tuned if you haven’t got too much on plus you can also check it out on our baliwaves webcam to see if there’s anything happening.
Catch ya’s tomorrow ok cause it’s time for the baliwaves crew to start preparing (bintang time) for our sushi night.

Hi
I would like to know if the “Speacial Accomadation” deal is available from late February. I have yet to book anywhere and liked to deal for around $54 per night which included an Air con room , breakfast, transport to surf breaks and surf shots.
I arrive the afternoon Feb 21 and leave March 1. Where is your Accomadation located ?? Being near the wet season where do you normally go to surf ( when swell is available ) Do you have airport pick up??
please send all details as. Soon as possible.
Thank you
Anthony
